Hey Pandas,
It can’t be that hard!
Max, you can’t lure in a Pompom with a hot dog. That only worked with the eel.
Well, one can try. I went around Panfu this morning hiding little pieces of hot dog in the bushes, around the trees – wherever I think a Pompom might be hiding. Maybe they like them just as much as the eel did?
You obviously didn’t listen to Carl. The Pompoms’ favorite treat is carrot soup. Kamaria prepared a big batch yesterday, but it didn’t seem to work. The poor little creatures have such a bad sense of direction that they probably had no idea how to get to it!
We spotted one yesterday in the jungle. It was curled up, hiding behind the Info-Point. Every time Ella and I took one step forward, it took two back. We have to think of something to catch them!
Max had the idea that one of us would sneak up behind while the other distracted it…but it’s not like Pandas are too great at sneaking. We are kind of big, after all.
I snuck up very quitely on tippy toes until I was directly behind the Pompom. I started counting…one…two…just one step away! But then:
Achoooo!!!
Ella!! Her sneeze scared the dickens out of the poor little Pompom and it scampered away up a tree. There’s no way we would catch it.
Sorry! It’s not my fault that I’m allergic to Pompoms!
Let’s get back to the great Pompom search. Tell us where you find them and how many you have!
Be good Pandas,
Max and Ella
